The search continues. The last few years have given us a truckload of Vietnam War shooters, like Conflict: Vietnam, Elite Warriors: Vietnam, Line of Sight: Vietnam, ShellShock: Nam '67, and at least one game without a subtitle, Men of Valor. But not a single one of them has risen above the herd; most of them have ranged from merely adequate to pretty awful. Where's the one stand-out Vietnam shooter?
We had high hopes Vietcong 2 might be the one, since the original Vietcong was one of the first into the water, and was one of the most immersive of the lot, despite some serious technical problems. Unfortunately, Vietcong 2 fails to live up to its potential. It's another Vietnam War shooter that's just OK.
